Born in Germany to Italian parents, I moved to Abruzzo a few years ago, in search of more sunshine, a better lifestyle, and the chance to live in one of Italy’s most beautiful regions.
Even though I speak Italian, settling in wasn’t easy: new culture, endless registration hurdles, and moments of feeling lost or lonely along the way.
